Working at grocery stores and cooking at home, founder and CEO Pete Lescoe learned that natural ingredients and thoughtful preparation make great tasting food – the kind of food he wanted to serve family and friends. In 2006 Lescoe began creating distinctive flavors to give consumers new choices in all natural chips. The company has grown beyond anything Lescoe anticipated, now the #1 natural tortilla chip brand in the U.S. and Canada. Based in Massachusetts, Food Should Taste Good, Inc. is a dynamic team of entrepreneurial individuals who embody values the brand is known for – simplicity, honesty and integrity. As the product offerings expand, the drive behind Food Should Taste Good remains focused on creating great tasting products that live up to both their quality standards and brand name.
Food Should Taste Good chips, available in all natural Tortilla Chips and new Kettle Cooked Sweet Potato Chips, are known for their great taste and nutritional benefits from all natural ingredients. Offering the consumer distinct choices, the snacks are created without trans fats, cholesterol, and artificial ingredients. They are certified gluten free, Kosher, low in sodium and are a good source of dietary fiber. All Tortilla Chips are certified vegan with the exception of Cheddar, White Cheddar and Chocolate.
I was lucky enough to get to try these wonderful chips recently and I absolutely loved them. I was sent the multigrain, blue corn, sweet potato and the olive flavors. I really enjoyed them all but my favorite flavor was the olive. My daughter's favorite was the sweet potato flavor. I am always looking for healthier snacks for my family but I always seem to have a hard time finding something my whole family will enjoy.
Most of the healthy snacks I have came across seem to be very bland tasting and no one in my family will eat them. Food Should Taste Good Chips have a lot of flavor and taste great. They are something I can feel good about serving my family. My daughter is such a picky eater but she loves chips at snack time. Now I have a much healthier option to give her.
I am looking forward to trying some of their other flavors they have available as well.
