In this book you'll discover:
- 31 transformation stories from women like you
- How to burn 5-9 times more fat without cardio
- An eating plan and recipes for balanced meals
- One exercise that can shrink your waistline without diet changes
- A training program that burns fat while you sleep
- How to get your kids to eat healthy and move more
- The ultimate form of accountability
- The five pillars necessary for lasting success
The five pillars consist of mindset, nutrition, strength training, burst training, and environment.
Mindset:
I agree that you definitely have to be in the right mindset if you want to make changes in your life. For some, getting in the right mindset is the hardest part, it is for me anyways.
Nutrition:
This book has made me take a second look at the things I eat. I realized that I needed to cut back on the junk food, not because I need to lose weight, but because eating healthier foods will make you feel better and get you in to the best shape.
Strength Training:
Leave the small weights behind and push yourself to the max. You must lift in order to tone.
Burst Training:
I learned that exercising at a high intensity for a short duration then slowing down or stopping to bring your heart rate down then bringing it back up again in different intervals is better than traditional cardio.
Environment:
Your environment is key in your journey to getting into shape. The people that we are around tend to influence our choices we make. If you are around people that live unhealthy lifestyles then more than likely you are living an unhealthy life style as well. If you are around others that eat healthy then it will motivate you to eat healthy too. After reading this book I have made some changes in my household. I have started buying more fruits and veggies for snacks instead of chips and other greasy foods. I must set an example for my daughter and help her live a healthy lifestyle as well.
I am gradually making changes and I am still on my journey to living healthier and building my confidence and energy.
